Lord Sheikh's Coat of Arms

Lord Sheikh has his own Coat of Arms which was designed by the College of Arms.

It signifies the importance of education as the peacock is holding quill pens. Also the word "Iqra" is Arabic for "Read", the first word of the  Quran to be revealed to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).

The doves on each side of the shield which bears the Islamic crescent convey the message that Islam is a religion of peace.
